As a psychotherapist, I see my job as helping people become more connected to themselves. By listening carefully and with deep interest, I seek to understand the unique individual who sits before me and the particular nature of his or her struggles. Perhaps you are suffering from depression or anxiety, plagued by a sense of failure or regret, or facing a challenging life transition. I believe that such difficult experiences are more than simply symptoms to be gotten rid of, they are communications from silenced or neglected parts of the self which are now asking to be heard. In therapy, I help people come to terms with the past, sort out difficulties in relationship, discover satisfying work, and find their place in the world. I do not believe I have the answers for you, but that you have within you a source of wisdom and intelligence that knows the right way forward for your life. Undertaking together a process of inquiry -- into your emotions, dreams, and everyday conflicts and problems -- we can engage that source of wisdom, and you can find the way to greater wholeness and healing.
My post-graduate training includes extensive study at the C.G. Jung Institut of Zurich, Switzerland, and with the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts. I am also certified in the family systems approach of Bert Hellinger.Phone: 202 232 4900
